If you are creating a custom access level to grant users back-end access to your site, you might’ve forgotten to take care of something. Granting this new group permissions to access certain components isn’t enough. In order for them to see the menu (which is rather important, some people would say) you also need to make a few tweaks to your view.
The fastest way to achieve this, is by adding the custom group to the “Special” view. Alternatively, you could create a new group and grant that access to all modules you want them to see in the back-end but it goes without saying that this is the longer route of the two.
